About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Category Manager to join our team at Picnic, a revolutionary grocery delivery service. As a key member of our scale-up phase, you'll play a central role in shaping and optimizing our assortment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a data-driven approach to identify opportunities for category growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive best category performance
  • Work with supply chain, customer service, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Lead the development of a well-balanced product range, leveraging expertise and passion for food
  • Drive commercial awareness and negotiate optimal deals with suppliers
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master degree in an analytical, business, retail, or equivalent field
  • 5+ years of experience in category management and buying in the grocery or food industry
  • Fluent communication in German and English
  • Strong analytical thinking and commercial awareness
