Product Management Specialist

Active Agile is seeking a skilled **Product Owner** to effectively manage and prioritize tasks for our agile team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting feature requests, planning releases, and coordinating sprints. Success in this position requires the ability to understand user needs and collaborate with diverse teams to oversee product launches. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to delivering products that align with our company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with Product leadership to create and prioritize the product backlog efficiently.
- Engage with clients, development teams, operations, external partners, and cross-functional leaders to identify, develop, and evaluate features that fulfill business objectives.
- Define product requirements and craft detailed User Stories/Epics with a focus on the end user, guiding engineers towards a clear project outcome.
- Establish the scope of releases and determine release schedules and strategies.
- Collaborate with the team to outline each sprint plan, review completed tasks, and assess results. This role requires high availability to support the team.
- Implement Agile methodologies to foster a disciplined software development process that encourages regular review and adaptation of ongoing work.
- Communicate product vision and user stories in a clear manner that is easily understood by development teams and clients.
- Proven interest in technology and user-centered design.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management capacity.
- Self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Open to taking risks, experimenting, and providing innovative insights.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
- Experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies and prior product experience is advantageous.
- A degree in Economics or a related technical field.
- Professional Scrum certifications, such as PSPO, are a plus.
- Fluency in both English and German is required.
