Project Management Office Head

Job Description

As a key member of the METRO GROUP, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Head to lead the LUCA Digital Finance implementation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the project, managing stakeholders, and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all PMO activities, including tracking deadlines and deliverables.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all PMO-related issues and questions for internal and external partners.
  • Close cooperation with the Project Director and Stakeholder Management.
  • Moderate status calls and other key meetings.
  • Participate and document different meetings, including SteerCo meetings.
  • Coordinate status reports and cross-check project documentation.
Requirements
  • Graduation in business economics or equivalent education.
  • Experience in Project Management, particularly with large IT implementations in international environments.
  • Knowledge of PM standards and processes, including S/4 HANA implementation.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and presentation skills for different target groups.
  • Results-oriented mindset and drive to deliver forward.
  • High level of team and service orientation.
  • High level of own initiative and assertiveness to drive change and engagement.
  • High analytical and strategic skills, openness to learn and grow.
  • Certification in TM, PM, and/or Change Management would be a plus.
  • SAP experience is a must, including experience in SAP Activate methodology.
  • At least 7 years of direct or indirect leadership experience.
  • English level advanced (verbal and writing).
  • Experience working in a European-based company.
