Festo Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing sales territories, and developing strategic relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sales activities in assigned territories to achieve sales growth and market objectives.
- Coach, assist, and direct sales engineers and distributors to ensure quotas and goals are met.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales individually and within the region.
- Conduct market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates.
- Monitor accounts to analyze customer needs, cross-sell products, and resolve issues.
- Represent the company at trade shows to promote products.
- Liaise between sales department and other sales-related units.
- Manage expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Assist the marketing department in preparing manuals and technical publications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5-7 years of related sales experience and/or training.
- 2-4 years of management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer literacy.
- Knowledge of fluid power, electronics, and electromechanical engineering.
- Solid understanding of industrial automation.
