Key Responsibilities- Conceive and execute a holistic expansion and growth strategy for the Italian market, leveraging market insights and data-driven decision making.
- Lead a national and international key account team to effectively manage sales in stationary and digital retail, driving business growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with the Sales Leadership Team and Vertical Lead to develop and implement the overall offline retail strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Identify and acquire new retail locations and partnerships in Italy, negotiating contracts and agreements to build long-term and successful collaborations.
- Monitor and control the entire expansion process, from planning to successful implementation, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Provide regular reporting to C-Level on the progress and results of retail expansion, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in retail, quick commerce, and expansion in the FMCG or food sector, with market-specific knowledge of the Italian food culture.
- Degree in business administration, management, finance, or law from a top university.
- Excellent English language skills, with relevant additional language skills, including German.
- Proven experience in leading and developing teams, especially in fast-growing environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct market analyses and develop strategic recommendations for action.
- Confident presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all hierarchical levels.
- Strong negotiating skills, with a proactive and goal-oriented approach to work.
