Head of Retail Expansion Strategist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our retail expansion efforts in the Nordic region. As the Head of Retail Expansion, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive growth strategy that drives business success and expands our presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceive and execute a holistic expansion strategy for the Nordic countries, leveraging market insights and analysis to inform business decisions.
- Manage and develop a national and international key account team to effectively manage sales in stationary and digital retail.
- Collaborate with the Sales Leadership Team and Vertical Lead to develop and implement the overall offline retail strategy.
- Identify and acquire new retail locations and partnerships domestically and internationally.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with retail partners to build long-term and successful collaborations.
- Monitor and control the entire expansion process, from planning to successful implementation.
- Provide regular reporting to C-Level on the progress and results of retail expansion.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience in retail, quick commerce, or expansion in the FMCG or food sector, with market-specific knowledge of the Nordic countries.
- A degree in business administration, management, finance, or law from a top university.
- Excellent English language skills, with relevant additional language skills, including German.
- Experience in leading and developing teams, especially in fast-growing environments.
- In-depth knowledge of conducting market analyses and developing strategic recommendations for action.
- Strong negotiating skills, commitment, good communication skills, and enthusiasm for the food market.
- A proactive and goal-oriented approach, with the ability to work under pressure and successfully implement complex projects.
