Head of Retail Expansion Strategist

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to lead our retail expansion efforts in Italy. As the Head of Retail Expansion, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive expansion strategy to drive growth and increase our presence in the Italian market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a holistic expansion strategy for the Italian market, including market analysis, team management, and sales growth.
- Lead a national and international key account team to effectively manage sales in stationary and digital retail.
- Collaborate with the Sales Leadership Team and Vertical Lead to develop and implement the overall offline retail strategy.
- Identify and acquire new retail locations and partnerships in Italy, negotiating contracts and agreements with retail partners.
- Monitor and control the entire expansion process, from planning to successful implementation.
- Regularly report to C-Level on the progress and results of retail expansion.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in retail, quick commerce, and expansion in the FMCG or food sector with market-specific knowledge of the Italian food culture.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading and developing teams in fast-growing environments.
- Excellent English language skills, with relevant additional language skills, including German.
- Proven ability to conduct market analyses, develop strategic recommendations, and drive sales growth.
- Strong negotiating skills, with experience in building and maintaining long-term partnerships.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and successfully implement complex projects.
