Responsibilities

Your Role Overview

We are in search of a qualified Accountant to become a vital part of our Finance team in Munich, Germany. In this role, you will assist our teams in Germany and Austria with various financial operations integral to their daily functions, including processing supplier invoices, aiding employees with payroll and expense claims, participating in the monthly and quarterly financial closing processes, and more. Reporting directly to the Company Controller based in Israel.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Managing vendor invoices and payment processing
  • Evaluating expense reports
  • Disbursing payments for expense reports and ensuring proper accounting treatment
  • Conducting bank reconciliations
  • Participating in the company's month-end and quarter-end closing activities
  • Assisting with HR functions - onboarding new hires, managing employment contracts, etc.
  • Supporting Payroll functions
Qualifications

Your Expertise & Skills

What You Bring to the Role

  • Certified Accountant
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience within an international organization
  • Solid understanding of tax regulations (essential for Germany / beneficial for Austria)
  • Experience with ERP systems - familiarity with SAP is a plus
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Basic understanding of HR functions
  • Knowledge of Payroll processes
  • Customer-focused approach
  • Fluent/native German speaker
  • Good command of professional English
