Key Responsibilities

Your Role at a Glance

We are in search of a qualified Accountant to become a part of our Finance team in Germany. In this role, you will assist our teams in managing all financial operations related to their daily functions, including processing supplier invoices, supporting payroll and expense management, participating in the company's monthly and quarterly financial closings, among other tasks. If you are looking to elevate your accounting expertise, this position is tailored for you.

Reporting directly to the Company Controller located in another region.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Managing vendor invoices and payments
  • Evaluating expense reports
  • Processing payments for expense reports and ensuring proper accounting treatment
  • Conducting bank reconciliations
  • Participating in the company's month-end and quarter-end financial closings
  • Assisting with HR functions - onboarding new hires, managing employment contracts, etc.
  • Supporting payroll activities
Qualifications

Your Knowledge & Skills

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Certified Accountant
  • 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role within an international organization
  • Solid understanding of tax regulations (essential for Germany / beneficial for Austria)
  • Experience with ERP systems - familiarity with SAP is a plus
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Basic understanding of HR processes
  • Knowledge of payroll-related processes
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Fluent/native proficiency in German
  • Good command of professional English
  • Currently residing in Germany
