Senior Manager Data Management in Investment Processes

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Data Management team in Investment Processes. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the team, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of high-quality data to support investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Data Management team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
  • Data Quality and Integrity: Oversee the development and implementation of data quality and integrity processes, ensuring that data is accurate, complete, and consistent with regulatory requirements.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance data quality.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including investment managers, risk managers, and compliance officers, to ensure that data needs are met and that data is delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and ensure that the Data Management team is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Technology and Infrastructure: Oversee the development and maintenance of data management systems, ensuring that they are scalable, secure, and meet the needs of the business.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field or a related field with relevant experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in data management, with a strong background in investment processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Proficiency in data management systems and technologies, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
