Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Manager to join our team, responsible for driving the development of new and existing data center campuses. As a key member of our development team, you will work closely with our Senior Director of New Site Development to manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of new data center projects, including site selection, design, and permitting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including facilities, operations, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance on development projects, identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive business growth and competitiveness.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in development management, with a focus on pre-construction activities, including site assessment, planning, and permitting.
  • Strong construction and project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
