Onboarding Process Specialist

At Universal Investment, we are seeking a highly skilled Onboarding Manager to support our Product Solutions Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for steering and monitoring our onboarding process for securities fund launches and transfers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as central touchpoint and escalation body for clients and internal departments during the onboarding process.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and communicate any additional requirements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the legal and operational setup of new mandates, including cross-country distribution requirements.
  • Support clients and internal departments in handling non-standard requests.
  • Ensure all onboarding-related KYC & Due Diligence requirements are met.
  • Establish and maintain efficient onboarding and life cycle management processes for clients.
  • Contribute to product developments by addressing potential improvements and working closely with Universal's Product Management Team.

Requirements:

  • Excellent university degree in business administration, economics, or related field of study.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the European asset management industry, either in project management or a client-facing role.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, including proven experience in project management and/or contract management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Good understanding of the investment fund business in Germany, Luxembourg, and Ireland.
  • Service orientation, paired with a solution-oriented attitude.
  • Dedicated team player.
  • Strong leadership skills and high capability of convincing others.
  • Fluent in German and English, with any additional language considered an asset.
