About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Scientist to join our team at ARLANXEO. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving profitable and sustainable business growth by identifying new product and application requirements in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of new product and application requirements to drive business growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technological changes in the industry, and proactively initiate discussions and project ideas.
  • Lead and support large, cross-functional development projects, including battery applications.
  • Support the global CSO team with in-depth technical knowledge.
  • Provide product and application training to customers, agents, distributors, and internal colleagues.
  • Work closely with direct T&S team colleagues and colleagues from different functions in the organization.
  • Update and maintain technical documentation, including technical notes and patent applications.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or PhD in a technical field, such as Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, or Chemistry.
  • Minimum 5-10 years' working experience in polymer synthesis or application development, including battery or adhesive applications.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
  • Working experience in the battery field.
  • Profound knowledge of IP and IP strategy.
  • Personal initiative, technology, and business analysis skills.
  • Excellent team player with good communication and problem-solving skills, leadership skills to manage and facilitate cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders, including upper management, on a strategic level.
  • Ability to manage opposite interests and propose projects and programs.
  • Result and value-driven mindset with a strong external focus.
  • Highly developed communication skills and ability to present internally and externally.
