Wir sind einer der weltweit größten Produzenten von Synthesekautschuk. Wir entwickeln, produzieren und vermarkten Hochleistungskautschuke, die für eine Vielzahl von Anwendungen eingesetzt werden.
Wahrscheinlich verwenden Sie synthetische Kautschuke in Ihrem täglichen Leben, ohne es zu merken. Für die Fahrt zur Arbeit und nach Hause brauchen Sie Gummi in den Reifen Ihres Autos oder Fahrrads. Beim Duschen befindet sich eine Gummidichtung in Ihrem Wasserhahn. Beim Öffnen des Kühlschranks sorgen die Gummidichtungen dafür, dass die Tür richtig schließt und die Kälte drinnen bleibt. Neben diesen eher „traditionellen“ Anwendungen wird unser synthetischer Kautschuk auch in Batterien für Elektroautos, in Windmühlen und Solarmodulen verwendet.

As Application scientist, you:
- will keeps abreast of the latest trend on new developmental and technological changes in the industry, pro-actively initiate discussion and enter project ideas
- will supports global CSO team with in-depth technical knowledge
- work closely together with your direct T&S team colleagues and with many colleagues from different functions in the organization
To accomplish this role, you possess:
- a master’s degree or preferably PhD in a technical field, like Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
- fluency in English (in written and verbal form)
- profound knowledge in IP and IP strategy required.
- personal initiative as well as technology and business analysis required.
- Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a solution oriented mindset
- leadership skills to manage and facilitate cross functional projects
- the ability to manage the relation with a large variety of (groups of) stakeholders, also in upper management, on strategic level and the ability to manage opposite interests.
- own initiative to propose projects and programs (define the scope and plan of projects and programs and manage uncertainties and expectations).
- a result and value driven mindset with strong external focus.
- highly developed communication skills and be able to present internally as well externally
