As a Therapeutic Area Manager, you'll have the opportunity to work with a dynamic, highly educated, and highly skilled team to develop and adapt therapeutic area strategies and positioning. You'll build brand plans and ensure the successful roll-out and local strategy alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and adapt therapeutic area strategy and positioning
- Build brand plans and ensure successful roll-out and local strategy alignment
- Convey and represent portfolio strategies and tactics, and optimize portfolio mix for EMEA region and on local level
- Actively improve therapeutic area product's reasons to believe and integrate these into positioning and tools
- Work in project and transversal mode with sales, medical & scientific affairs, market access, customer service, finance, logistics, and Global & European marketing teams
- Partner with global and regional Training teams, co-develop training content, track training success and sales skill levels
- Act as an interface between global, regional, and local Marketing, MSCO, Market Access, and Commercial teams
- Support the Launch Excellence Manager in driving EMEA product launches as part of cross-functional teams across the EMEA region
Requirements
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business, and/or Biological Science or related field required, higher degree strongly preferred
- At least 7+ years industry experience with ideally 3+ years of experience in in vitro diagnostics marketing functions, ideally familiar with Point-of-Care testing
- Familiarity with Infectious Diseases and diagnostic landscape
- Proven ability of delivering goals in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional language will be considered a strong asset
- Excellent interpersonal-, negotiation-, and influencing skills
- Problem solving attitude; creative, flexible, change embracing
- Proven ability to effectively communicate & collaborate with all key stakeholders at higher and lower reporting levels
- Strong focus in understanding and extracting customer value
- High level of comfort interpreting and communicating complex technical information, including clinical concepts, statistics, and outcomes
