Continuous Improvement Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon Logistik Westfalenhuette GmbH - E74. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive improvement plan to optimize Fulfillment Centre operations and improve customer experience.
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen activities to drive cultural change and lean thinking across the organisation.
- Collaborate with EU teams to standardize processes and share best practices, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the business.
- Manage the Fulfillment Centre implementation agenda, prioritizing process improvement activities and resources.
- Take ownership of the Leadership Steering Committee, driving process improvement initiatives and ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Standardize processes and actively share best practices with EU Process Owners to avoid duplication and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) is a specialist service that handles heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns, with a focus on safety, productivity, and innovation.
We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe, and we're looking for talented individuals to join our team and help drive this growth.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, or Logistics.
- Experience in distribution and/or fulfillment processes, ideally in fast-paced industrial, logistics, or production environments.
- Indepth knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and its practical application.
- Strong record of team leadership in largescale, rapid, process-driven environments.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
We require fluency in local language and English, and prefer candidates with wide knowledge of change management and continuous improvement methodologies, as well as demonstrable training and dissemination skills and experience.
