About the Role

The Continuous Improvement Operations Manager will play a key role in driving process excellence and efficiency within Amazon Logistik Westfalenhuette GmbH - E74's Fulfillment Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned operations professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive improvement plan to drive best-in-class customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the development of a culture of continuous improvement and lean thinking across the Fulfillment Centre.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Standardize processes and share best practices with EU Process Owners to drive consistency and avoid duplication.
  • Liaise with EU teams to drive leverage of cross-FC process excellence and maintain strong relationships.

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) is a specialist service that manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns, with a focus on safety, productivity, and innovation. Our team is made up of professionals across operations, supply chain, business intelligence, and programme management, working together to grow this part of the business.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, or Logistics.
  • Experience in Distribution and/or Fulfillment processes, ideally in fast-paced industrial, logistics, or production environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and its practical application.
  • Strong record of team leadership in large-scale, rapid, process-driven environments.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Wide knowledge of change management and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrable training and dissemination skills and experience.
