About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Channel Manager to join our team in Munich, Germany. As a Channel Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our retail partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans to drive sales growth and increase market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail accounts, including drugstore and health non-food assortments
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement merchandising programs, including product assortments, pricing, and promotional strategies
- Forecast sales and monitor results through regular meetings with management and other functions
- Prepare and present sales analysis and product strategies to account meetings
- Develop and implement merchandising programs, including product assortments and pricing
- Visit assigned stores to evaluate overall assortment, monitor competitive activity, and make recommendations to drive growth
- Work collaboratively with Trade Marketing and other functions to develop and present initiatives and manage the P&L
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of wholesale experience, preferably in the German retail landscape
- Proven track record with Key Account Management, with a focus on drugstore/health/non-food assortments
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software
- Retail math literacy and application of concepts to daily operations
- Strong financial acumen, with a functioning understanding of P&L
- Excellent analytical skills, strong business and project management skills
- Account Management skills, including establishing productive relationships, strong presentation and negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and ability to interpret corporate strategies into trade activation programs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Highly motivated self-starter individual, with career growth aspirations, and the ability to operate independently, manage multiple projects in parallel, and create functional structures
- German and English required
