Procurement Specialist (m/w/d) in Industrial Automation

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute procurement analyses, as well as independently negotiate and conclude contracts for the industrial automation sector.
- Develop and optimize tender documents in close collaboration with project managers.
- Manage supplier relationships, including claims and additional work management.
- Continuously evaluate and improve supplier and procurement strategies based on regular market analyses and sourcing activities.
- Implement a comprehensive forecasting system for suppliers.
Requirements:
- Completed technical education with good business knowledge or completed commercial education with a technical focus or a technical or business degree.
- Several years of experience in strategic procurement or project procurement in the machinery and plant construction industry.
- Basic knowledge of project management and project work.
- Proficient in MS Office applications; SAP knowledge is desirable.
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- High level of self-motivation, resilience, and communication skills.
- Structured and goal-oriented working style, as well as high negotiation skills with a strong customer focus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.
