Procurement Specialist

Position Overview:
As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing procurement processes in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently oversee procurement activities, ensuring adherence to all applicable procurement laws.
- Collaborate closely with various departments to coordinate procurement initiatives, prepare them for bidding, establish evaluation criteria, and develop timelines.
- Assist in crafting performance specifications and guarantee the efficient organization and execution of procurement activities.
- Facilitate communication with bidders in partnership with departmental teams.
- Manage the submission process, conduct formal assessments of bids, and procure any necessary documentation.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement records and document the entire procurement lifecycle.
- Prepare reports on exclusion and cancellation justifications while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Serve as a knowledgeable advisor on procurement issues for various departments and procurement offices.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Law is required.
- Preferred candidates will have expertise and practical experience in procurement legislation.
- A passion for exploring new topics, developing actionable solutions, and staying updated on current procurement trends is essential.
- Strong reliability, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit are key attributes.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a structured approach is necessary.
