Procurement Specialist for Industrial Automation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist for Industrial Automation to join our team at Manz AG. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing procurement activities for industrial automation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute procurement activities for industrial automation projects, including vendor analysis and contract negotiations.
  • Develop and optimize procurement strategies and processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of goods and services.
  • Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Implement a comprehensive forecasting system to ensure accurate demand planning and supply chain optimization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in industrial automation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP, with experience in procurement software a plus.
  • Fluent German and English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
