About the Role

KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Product Manager for Sugarbeet. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing short- and long-term strategies for our innovative CONVISO SMART project, a non-GM herbicide tolerance system in sugarbeet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement product strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Manage and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams locally and internationally to ensure effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure herbicide supply on a global level and manage the annual Tech Fee settlement with Bayer CropScience and license holders
  • Implement life-cycle management policies and execute action plans to ensure trait durability and achieve long-term goals

Requirements

  • Scientific degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Economy, or equivalent experience
  • Several years of professional experience in R&D-driven companies with divisional structures
  • Extensive knowledge of the agricultural seed and crop protection industry
  • Strong analytical and solution-oriented skills, with the ability to thrive in complex environments
  • Results-driven, with a focus on productive outcomes
  • Ability to simplify and process complex relationships and communicate effectively with teams
  • Fluency in English (oral and written); proficiency in French or Spanish is a plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 15%)
