POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Senior AV-VC Support Specialist, you will be integral in facilitating effective communication and collaboration for our executive leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain continuous communication with the Executive Support Engineering team, managing assigned tasks, daily operations, scheduling, and troubleshooting video conferencing issues.
  • Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of AV-VC systems in executive conference rooms, ensuring optimal performance and prompt resolution of any issues.
  • Deliver high-level technical support for video conferencing, providing real-time assistance to executives during meetings.
  • Efficiently manage and resolve tasks, including Make/Add/Changes requests, as well as Break/Fix and RMA requests.
  • Monitor video conferencing sessions at end-user event sites, perform necessary equipment swaps in executive conference rooms, and conduct inspections twice daily.
  • Install and maintain video conferencing room hardware, ensuring quick replacement and installation of key components to minimize downtime.
  • Contribute to the development of the AV-VC Small Group Support process (Run Book) and pursue continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide immediate technical support to the Executive Engineering team during business hours, ensuring their needs are met without delay.
  • Manage all collaboration hardware deployment requests from the executive team, overseeing the process from request initiation to final delivery.
  • Collaborate with vendors, Logistics, and cross-functional teams to facilitate the replacement and recommissioning of equipment, ensuring a smooth supply chain.
  • Oversee the inventory of Executive Support equipment and peripherals, working with Logistics to reorder and fulfill additional supplies as needed.
  • Occasionally engage with executives and their administrative staff to address inquiries and recommend video conferencing solutions, enhancing user experience.
  • Maintain close collaboration with the AV-VC team to ensure compliance with environmental standards and stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining AV-VC systems and providing executive support.
  • Strong technical acumen with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving video conferencing challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with robust organizational and task management abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of call flows and proficiency in troubleshooting, including packet capture, hardware log collection, firmware updates, and streamshark packet analysis.
