About the Role

CSA Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as an Industrial Sales Representative - Hazardous Locations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and expanding our presence in the hazardous locations and industrial equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the hazardous locations and industrial equipment industry
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, and direct solicitation
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide solutions to customers and drive business growth
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and technologies to provide expert advice to customers
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience in the testing, inspection, and certification industry, with a strong understanding of hazardous locations and industrial equipment
  • Commercially competent in the field of hazardous locations or industrial TIC sales
  • Strong commercial understanding in one of the following areas: ATEX Directive, IECEx Scheme, UKEx, North American hazardous location approvals, or industrial control/automation compliance
  • Proven ability to consistently exceed sales goals and meet or exceed targeted goals with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM database applications
