Fire Protection Inspector (Public Educ.)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Inspector to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a Fire Protection Inspector, you will be responsible for developing and implementing fire prevention and protection programs, providing training and education to installation personnel, and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fire prevention and protection programs to minimize the risk of fires and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Provide training and education to installation personnel on fire safety and prevention procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential fire hazards and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement fire safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to installation personnel on fire safety and prevention procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of experience in fire protection or a related field.
  • Valid host nation Class B and Class C motor vehicle operator license.
  • English Language Proficiency Level C1 required.
  • Ability to operate a computer.
  • Pass a medical evaluation as determined appropriate by US Army authorities.
