Electrical/Mechanical Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical/Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating maintenance, repair, and minor construction on electrical/mechanical systems throughout our Garmisch Army Military Community.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Chief, O&M in planning, development, and coordination of maintenance, repair, and minor construction on electrical/mechanical systems.
- Use automated systems to maintain records and generate reports, spreadsheets, and charts.
- Perform technical tasks related to electrical/mechanical systems, including maintenance, repair, and minor construction.
- Conduct studies and inspections requiring engineering review and guidance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Meister Diploma or Staatlich geprüfter Techniker in a trades or crafts field directly related to the position.
- 2 years of job-related experience as defined below.
- English Language Proficiency level B2 and German Language Proficiency level C1 required.
