Job Description
We are Safran Helicopter Engines Germany GmbH, a global manufacturer of gas turbine engines and a subsidiary of Safran Helicopter Engines S.A.S. in Bordes, France. Our Hamburg facility provides customer service and marketing to many countries in Central, Northern, and Eastern Europe, as well as Central Asia. Our customer portfolio is divided into two large segments: civilian and military.
Our Mission
To keep our customers flying, we strive to provide exceptional service and support. Our team of 70 people in Hamburg contributes to our development and growth.
Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Office Assistant (m/f/d) with additional responsibilities in our Purchasing Department to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Reception and Office Organization: managing the reception area, processing mail and phone calls, planning meetings, and preparing conference rooms.
- Administrative Support: processing travel expense reports, supporting HSE tasks, and managing filing systems.
- Material Management and Purchasing: ordering office supplies, supporting purchasing processes, and managing suppliers.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in a similar position.
- Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
- Proficient use of MS Office applications and experience with SAP.
- Strong service and solution orientation, excellent organizational and communication skills, and basic knowledge of purchasing processes and procurement.
