About the Role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Direct Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers within your assigned territory, focusing on universities, research laboratories, and similar institutions. You will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to guide prospects through the sales process, from initial contact to successful closure.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts within your assigned territory.
- Conduct in-depth consultations with potential customers, understanding their needs and demonstrating the value proposition of our 3D printing solutions.
- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to effectively engage prospects and drive conversions.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions within our CRM system.
Your Profile
- 5-10 years of proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the technology sector.
- A strong understanding of 3D printing/additive manufacturing technologies is highly desirable but not essential.
- Experience selling to universities and research laboratories is a significant advantage.
- A track record of exceeding sales targets and consistently delivering exceptional results.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
