Job Title: Senior Compliance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Officer to join our Financial Crime Compliance team in Luxembourg. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of financial crime risks across our wholesale banking operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain expertise and in-depth subject knowledge of financial crime compliance regulations and good practices in the wholesale banking sector.
  • Provide advice and guidance on customer due diligence, transaction analysis, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and escalate financial crime alerts and suspicious activity reports to ensure timely and effective response.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial crime compliance policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of financial crime compliance activities.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs to enhance financial crime compliance knowledge and awareness.
  • Represent the Financial Crime Compliance team in projects and workgroups to ensure effective collaboration and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Law, Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in compliance, legal, or risk management, preferably in wholesale banking.
  • Strong knowledge of financial crime compliance regulations and industry trends.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
