Billing Officer Job Description

Austin Bright is seeking a highly skilled Billing Officer to join our team in Luxembourg. As a Billing Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the full billing cycle, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the billing process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and client agreements.
  • Review and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee e-billing processes and payment follow-up, ensuring timely payment from clients.
  • Monitor client budgets and unbilled fees, providing regular updates to management.
  • Prepare monthly reports for management, highlighting key billing metrics and trends.
  • Collaborate with the collection team to handle payments and resolve any billing-related issues.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of billing experience in a Luxembourg law firm.
  • Fluency in French and English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of VAT regulations is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
