About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Logistics Lead to join our team at the KION Group. As a key member of our Business Transformation Program, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Data Management Tower.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Logistics Data Cluster's strategy, objectives, and implementation plans.
  • Lead and mentor Data Owners in your clusters, ensuring effective data governance and quality management.
  • Define data models, governance, processes, harmonization, and data quality rules, providing functional expertise to the team.
  • Oversee Data Quality Management activities for all data objects within your cluster, providing guidance on prioritization and metrics.
  • Review data migration reports with Data Owners and recommend corrective action when necessary.

Requirements:

  • A degree in business administration, business informatics, engineering, or comparable studies, with several years of professional experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Relevant experience in Master Data Management, with a strong understanding of data quality and data protection management practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a focus on details and problem-solving competence.
  • Ability to communicate and facilitate in English with senior-level management from technology and business in an international and intercultural environment.
