Your Role

As an Accounting and Internal Audit Manager, you will be part of our Finance and Legal Team, collaborating closely with our Head of Accounting to ensure HGB compliance and improve month-end and year-end closing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end closing activities.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with financial regulations and policies, such as HGB and IFRS.
  • Create, manage, and maintain fiscal documentation to ensure precise recording of transactions.
  • Support senior members of the team in enhancing existing processes and workflows.
  • Develop and sustain internal control protocols to uphold financial integrity.
  • Coordinate and actively contribute to both local and consolidated audits, along with annual tax submissions.
  • Rectify audit findings and implement corrective actions to rectify any discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 5+ years of Accounting experience, public accounting (Wirtschaftspröfung) is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of HGB & IFRS, with good German Tax knowledge. SAP experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and German.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Strategic thinker coupled with a proactive, results-driven approach, adaptable to fast-paced environments.
