Accounting and Financial Control Manager

FINN is revolutionizing the way people experience mobility. As an Accounting and Internal Audit Manager, you'll be part of our Finance and Legal Team, collaborating closely with our Head of Accounting. Your role will involve overseeing daily accounting operations to ensure compliance with German GAAP (HGB) and improving month-end and year-end closing processes.
Your Key Responsibilities- Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end closing activities.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with financial regulations and policies, including HGB and IFRS.
- Create, manage, and maintain fiscal documentation to ensure precise recording of transactions.
- Support senior members of the team in enhancing existing processes and workflows.
- Develop and sustain internal control protocols to uphold financial integrity.
- Coordinate and actively contribute to local and consolidated audits, as well as annual tax submissions.
- Rectify audit findings and implement corrective actions to address any discrepancies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5+ years of Accounting experience, with public accounting (Wirtschaftspröfung) required.
- Excellent knowledge of HGB and IFRS, with good German Tax knowledge.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in both English and German.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Strategic thinker coupled with a proactive, results-driven approach, adaptable to fast-paced environments.
