Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Financial Operations Manager to join our Finance and Legal Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and improving month-end and year-end closing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the accurate and timely completion of month-end closing activities.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with financial regulations and policies, such as HGB and IFRS.
  • Create, manage, and maintain fiscal documentation to ensure precise recording of transactions.
  • Support senior members of the team in enhancing existing processes and workflows.
  • Develop and sustain internal control protocols to uphold financial integrity.
  • Coordinate and actively contribute to both local and consolidated audits, along with annual tax submissions.
  • Rectify audit findings and implement corrective actions to rectify any discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 5+ years of Accounting experience, public accounting (Wirtschaftsprüfung) is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of HGB & IFRS, with good German Tax knowledge. SAP experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and German.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Strategic thinker coupled with a proactive, results-driven approach, adaptable to fast-paced environments.
