API Sales Executive Job Description

Our client, a leading on/off-ramp platform for stablecoins in Africa, is seeking an experienced API Sales Executive to join their team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and delivering presentations on products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential sales opportunities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and gather feedback on their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services to potential clients
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and gather feedback from customers or prospects
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales or a relevant role
  • Relevant tertiary qualification required
  • Experience selling APIs and SaaS software
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and CRM software
  • Strong understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
