About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Extend Expert to join our team at Covestro. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Workday Extend roadmap in line with our IT strategy, ensuring seamless integration with our HR landscape.
- Stay up-to-date with market developments and advancements in Workday Extend, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Design and implement advanced presentation components, data services, and orchestration services to enhance our Workday Extend applications.
- Ensure the operational stability of our Workday Extend applications, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with IT and HR teams to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements for Extend applications, defining project scopes and executing them effectively.
- Lead global projects for the implementation of Extend applications, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Develop and implement testing procedures, verification, and release processes for Workday Extend applications, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in information technology, business informatics, or a related field.
- Have several years of experience in Workday Extensions, software programming, and project management.
- Proven experience as a Workday Extend Consultant, with a strong track record of implementing new Extend solutions.
- Excellent consulting and communication skills, with the ability to effectively participate in multiple projects.
- Strong solution orientation and ability to work in a global team.
- Fluency in English and German, with experience in project management methods (SDLC, Agile).
