About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect and Service Manager to join our SAP Basis & Platforms team at Covestro. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping the technology and design of innovative user interfaces, working closely with user communities to develop best possible solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide services for the development and operation of SAP solutions for user interfaces used at Covestro, including consulting and support in the implementation of new scenarios within the scope of projects.
  • Be responsible for the architecture and administration of the systems SAP Fiori Launchpad, SAP Build Workzone, and the surrounding SAP Business Technology Platform.
  • Coordinate external service providers on your own responsibility.
  • Act as the responsible Implementation Manager (m/f/d) for the technical change management of the mentioned operational applications and be responsible for their system integrity.
  • Continuously identify potential for improvement with regard to the stability and performance of the applications mentioned.
Requirements

  • You have a successfully completed university degree in (business) informatics or comparable training and several years of professional experience.
  • You have sound experience in SAP UX solutions such as SAP Fiori or SAP Build Workzone.
  • You have already proven your experience in the management of IT projects.
  • Your way of working and thinking is analytical, methodical and structured.
  • You are familiar with agile methodologies.
  • You impress with your networking skills, strong communication skills in German and English round off your profile.
