We are seeking an ambitious Area Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the pulp and paper segment in Germany North. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the industry and leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Commercial sales of chemicals to selected pulp and paper mills in Germany with full responsibility for revenue and profitability for your sales area
- Lead a group of sales staff, working directly with customers in their respective area
- Maintain and develop existing customers and acquire new applications
- Evaluate sales potentials technically and commercially
- Support market observation and maintain CRM system
- Coordinate projects within an international group of application experts
- University degree or relevant experience in business, sales, marketing, chemistry, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of successful track record in proactive B2B selling of paper chemicals
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
- Desire to lead a team in a direct line management relationship and succeed together in an international and cross-functional group
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong collaboration, solution selling, and relationship building capabilities
- Willingness to travel (up to 60%)
