Area Sales Manager for Pulp and Paper Segment

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth in our pulp and paper segment in Germany North. The sales area extends north of Dortmund and Dresden.
Main Responsibilities:
- Commercial sales of chemicals to selected pulp and paper mills in Germany with full responsibility for revenue and profitability for your sales area
- Leading a group of sales staff, working directly with the customers in their respective area
- Maintaining and developing existing customers and acquiring new applications
- Evaluating sales potentials technically and commercially
- Supporting an intensive market observation
- Maintenance and administration of the CRM system
- Project coordination within an international group of application experts
Requirements:
- University degree or other relevant experience in business, sales & marketing, chemistry or related field
- Minimum of 5 years successful track recording in proactive B2B selling of paper chemicals
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
- Desire to lead a team in a direct line management relationship and succeeding together in an international and cross-functional group
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong collaboration, solution selling and relationship building capabilities
- Willingness to travel (up to 60%)
