Project Manager Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Centre People Appointments. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site progress and ensuring smooth coordination across the area where you are responsible.
Main Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage day-to-day on-site progress, ensuring that tasks are completed according to plan and within the designated timeline.
- Report regularly to the supervising Project Manager on overall site progress and any challenges encountered.
- Summarize and highlight key issues that may arise, ensuring that relevant details are communicated promptly to facilitate timely decision-making.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure that work is being executed according to the project plan.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in coordinating the integration of various departments (operations, quality, and engineering) during the commissioning phase.
- Support the supervising Project Manager in gathering information needed for client discussions and decision-making processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on large-scale industrial construction projects.
- Previous experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech industrial construction is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to manage daily site operations and provide clear, concise reporting.
- Strong knowledge of contracting best practices, risk management, and construction processes.
- Business level of English.
- Business fluency of German is advantageous.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing relationships.
