Project Manager for Engineering Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our engineering projects in Dresden. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and motivating project engineers and the entire project team.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage project engineers and the project team to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including customers, business development management, and sales teams.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure project success.
- Coordinate and lead project meetings, reviews, and status updates.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
- University degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, precision engineering, or a similar subject with a technical business background.
- Several years of experience as a project manager, product manager, or engineer, preferably on mechatronic projects and industrialization for mass production.
- Experience in multi-project management, with interdisciplinary teams across global organizations.
- Experience with external customer projects and cooperation with external parties.
- Project management experience according to ISO 9001, with milestone processes and product approvals.
- Sound usage of MS Office and project management tools.
- Proficient English language skills (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in the German language is highly desirable and will be considered an asset.
- Basic understanding of mechatronic systems and industrial manufacturing.
- Basic experiences or interest in Agile Management.
- Several years of experience in the development of technical systems as well as their industrialization.
- Customer-focused view combined with a think-like-an-owner attitude.
- Structured, solution-oriented, and pragmatic way of thinking and working.
- Committed and reliable personality.
- Project leader with clarity and decision-making attitude, still working as a team player.
- Experience in technical troubleshooting.
- Solid acting in an intercultural environment.
- Convincing and clear communication and presentation skills.
