Job Title: Data Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation of Data Platforms: Participate in the conceptualization and establishment of modern data platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient data management.
  • Data Architecture and Development: Develop, construct, test, document, and maintain data architectures, including databases and large processing systems, to support business intelligence and analytics.
  • Data Pipelines and Provisioning: Create and monitor data pipelines for data transformation and provisioning, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Data Catalog and Modeling: Support the building and maintaining of a data catalog, and conceptualize data models for analytical purposes, driving business insights and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Completed degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent qualification, with strong knowledge in one or more programming languages such as Python, R, or C#.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in designing ETL/ELT processes, efficient handling of various database and storage systems, and knowledge in agile software development.
  • Industry Knowledge: Ideally experience in the German healthcare sector or Health-IT/Medical Informatics, with a passion for software systems and motivation to continue learning.
