Your Role: Data Platform Engineer

As a Data Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our modern data platform. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers to build robust data architectures, pipelines, and models that support our mission.

  • Design and Implement: Contribute to the conceptualization and establishment of a cutting-edge data platform, encompassing databases, large processing systems, and data pipelines for efficient data transformation and provisioning.
  • Data Management Expertise: Develop, construct, test, document, and maintain data architectures, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Pipeline Development: Create and monitor robust data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools like Airbyte, Airflow, Spark, Dagster, or dbt to ensure seamless data flow and transformation.
  • Data Catalog Management: Support the development and maintenance of a comprehensive data catalog, enabling efficient data discovery and understanding.
  • Analytical Data Modeling: Conceptualize and design data models tailored for analytical purposes, supporting data-driven decision making.

Your Profile:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or C#.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes using industry-standard tools.
  • Strong understanding of various database systems (e.g., MS SQL Server) and cloud storage solutions (e.g., S3).
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector or Health-IT/Medical Informatics is a plus.
  • A passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning.
