Job Description: Data Platform Engineer

We are seeking a talented Data Platform Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our modern data platform. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, building, and optimizing data architectures, pipelines, and systems that support our mission-critical applications.

  • Design and Implement Data Solutions: Participate in the conceptualization, design, and implementation of a robust and scalable data platform, encompassing databases, data warehouses, and large-scale processing systems.
  • Develop Data Pipelines: Create and manage efficient data pipelines for data transformation, integration, and provisioning, ensuring data quality and consistency across various systems.
  • Data Modeling Expertise: Conceptualize and implement data models that support analytical reporting, business intelligence, and data-driven decision making.
  • Database Management: Work with a variety of database technologies, including relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server) and cloud storage solutions (e.g., S3), ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Collaboration and Agile Development: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, adhering to agile software development methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or C#.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes using tools such as Airbyte, Airflow, Spark, Dagster, or dbt.
  • Knowledge of agile software development principles and practices.
  • Passion for data engineering and a commitment to continuous learning.
