About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at adesso SE. As a Data Engineer Sports Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines, data ingestion, and data processing solutions for our clients in the sports industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data pipelines using cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Develop and maintain data ingestion and processing solutions using big data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, and Spark.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical analytics projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud and software engineering to provide expert advice to our clients.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Engineer who is passionate about working with data and has a strong background in cloud analytics and big data technologies. You should have:

A strong understanding of cloud-based analytics platforms and big data technologies.Experience with programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.Knowledge of build tools and CI/CD pipelines such as Maven, Sbt, Git, or Gradle.Experience with cloud strategies such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
