Senior Key Account Manager

About the Role

BorgWarner is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Key Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with our key customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive customer strategies to improve profitability and growth.
  • Represent BorgWarner in a professional and positive manner, building strong relationships with key decision makers.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deploy pricing strategies and develop proactive new business opportunity plans.
  • Monitor market dynamics and provide relevant information to sales management for consolidation in our market sensing process.
  • Take ownership of total customer satisfaction, monitoring performance on key supplier metrics and pursuing corrective action plans as necessary.
  • Develop sales forecasts for use in the LRP and monitor market trends throughout the year for use in monthly forecast adjustments.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in sales and ability to deliver excellent customer experience.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics and ability to analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Business/commercial acumen with a problem-solving attitude and ability to think strategically.
  • Proven negotiation experience and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and prioritize work accordingly.
  • Bachelor's Degree (Hons) or equivalent professional qualification and experience.
  • Fluent in English and German, with experience in the automotive, OEM, or Tier 1 background preferred.
