BorgWarner is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Key Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing and developing our relationships with key customers in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive customer strategies to improve profitability and growth.
- Represent BorgWarner in a professional and positive manner, building strong relationships with key decision makers.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deploy pricing strategies and develop proactive new business opportunity plans.
- Monitor market dynamics and provide relevant information to sales management for consolidation in our market sensing process.
- Take ownership of total customer satisfaction, monitoring performance on key supplier metrics and pursuing corrective action plans as necessary.
- Develop sales forecasts for use in the LRP and monitor market trends throughout the year for use in monthly forecast adjustments.
- Hands-on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience.
- Understanding of sales performance metrics and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and proven experience of managing people.
- Structured individual with good problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
- Confident, thoughtful, and able to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and keen approach to learning.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize work accordingly.
- Fluent in English and German, with experience preferably gained in the automotive, OEM, or Tier 1 background.
