Key Account Manager

BorgWarner is seeking a skilled Key Account Manager to join our team in Luxembourg. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing commercial relationships with key customers, developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy comprehensive customer strategies to improve profitability and growth.
- Articulate a clear understanding of our market share, competitive position, and profitability at each assigned account.
- Work with sales management to deploy comprehensive pricing strategies based on value provided to the customer and competitive alternatives.
- Develop and deploy the customer interface strategy and build strong rapport with key decision makers.
- Develop proactive new business opportunity plans and track progress toward sales objectives.
- Monitor market dynamics and funnel relevant information to sales management for consolidation in our market sensing process.
- Take ownership of total customer satisfaction and monitor performance on key supplier metrics.
- Develop sales forecasts for use in the LRP and monitor market trends throughout the year.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional qualification and experience.
- Fluent in English, with any other languages being an asset.
- Relevant professional experience post-graduation, preferably in the automotive, OEM, or Tier 1 background.
Travel: Travel will be expected to fulfill the role in order to manage nominated customer accounts.
