Siemens Gamesa is a global leader in energy technology, driving the transition to sustainable and reliable energy solutions. As a Certification and Regulatory Specialist for Offshore Wind Projects, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with local partners and design offices to compile documentation and information for certification purposes
  • Negotiating certification requirements and solutions with expert teams and stakeholders
  • Establishing market-wide acceptance of Siemens Gamesa standards and principles for project certification and product validation
  • Defining and verifying applicable local codes and standards for assigned projects in EU and US regions
  • Developing and implementing certification plans and following up on action plans to secure realization as per agreed milestones and time plans
  • Agreeing and maintaining design bases and frequently updating certification requirements and documentation to remain in line with agreed design bases
  • Cross-functional leading of project-specific validation of loads and other windfarm-specific parameters according to requirements specified in certification plans and corresponding design bases
  • Contributing to continuous improvement on standards, practice, and principles

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Engineering or a comparable field
  • 3+ years of experience within certification processes in the wind industry or similar
  • Experience in an intercultural business environment
  • Customer-oriented approach, both internally and externally
  • Confidence in using MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Business fluency in English (written and spoken), Danish or German are a plus
