Account Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Account Development Manager to join our team in Hamburg, Germany. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with national customers, driving sales growth, and optimizing customer profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with the Sales Channel Strategy
- Plan and conduct annual customer meetings in alignment with senior management
- Achieve budgeted sales targets per customer
- Negotiate terms and conditions and implement results
- Implement planned activities for sustainable customer retention
- Ensure customer profitability
Requirements:
- Completed degree in business or economics or equivalent education
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer management in the retail/food retail/drogerie sector
- Understanding of concepts, strategies, and approaches in the trade
- Cross-functional experience (Marketing/Retail Marketing) desirable
- Analytical understanding and negotiation skills
- Interdisciplinary and team-oriented working style
- Result-oriented and willingness to take responsibility
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Solid knowledge of common MS Office programs, Nielsen, and SAP
